Amongst all, the query of G Suite to Office 365  migration attracts half of the businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many organizations are switching their \ncomplete business collaborative application from G Suite to O365 online.\n So, whenever an email client switch occurs, there is a requirement of a\n technique that can export its old data into a new application. \nTherefore, in this article, we are going to show you a complete guide \nthat can move data of G Suite to MS Office 365 mailboxes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Technique to Perform Data Migration from G Suite to Office 365<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This workaround named as IMAP Migration \nand it is considered as a better manual method over other traditional \napproaches. But, this solution only imports messages of Gmail in \nMicrosoft Office 365 OWA. Here, the complete method using IMAP Migration\n is described below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step by Step Migration from Google Apps to Office 365<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There are two possible ways through which\n IMAP Migration can be done, i.e. Exchange Admin Center (EAC) and \nPowerShell. The PowerShell command is very much complex and requires \nattention while using it. Thus, we opt EAC approach to import Gmail \nemail into O365 webmail. Just go through the below instructions and \ncomplete the task successfully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 1: List All the Mailboxes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The very first step is to make a list of mailboxes in G Suite domain \nthat are going to be imported. For this, execute the following steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> The list size must be of 10 MB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In<strong> Google Admin Console<\/strong>, sign in with admin account.<\/li><li>Once the account validates successfully, click on <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.systoolsgroup.com\/google-apps-to-office-365\/\">Users<\/a> <\/strong>as shown in the screenshot.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"264\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mozesoft.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/step2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-817\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mozesoft.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/step2.png 600w, https:\/\/www.mozesoft.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/step2-300x132.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Now, you can see a user ID along with last login detail. After that, note down all the email ID.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"601\" height=\"144\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mozesoft.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/step4.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-816\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mozesoft.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/step4.png 601w, https:\/\/www.mozesoft.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/step4-300x72.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 601px) 100vw, 601px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Once you write down the users email addresses, log in to <strong>O365 admin center<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Select <strong>Users >> Active users<\/strong>. Then, navigate to <strong>USER NAME<\/strong> column present in between to <strong>DISPLAY NAME<\/strong> and <strong>STATUS<\/strong>. You need this detail later in the process.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"555\" height=\"325\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mozesoft.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/step6.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-818\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mozesoft.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/step6.png 555w, https:\/\/www.mozesoft.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/step6-300x176.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 555px) 100vw, 555px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>After that, start <strong>Excel application<\/strong> and make a table as shown in the screenshot. You need to create three columns that are <strong>Email Address, UserName<\/strong>, and <strong>Password<\/strong>. In Email Address Column, write all the user ID associated with O365. Next, type the log in name of user and password in <strong>UserName<\/strong> and <strong>Password<\/strong> column respectively.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"313\" height=\"152\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mozesoft.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/step8.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-819\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mozesoft.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/step8.jpg 313w, https:\/\/www.mozesoft.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/step8-300x146.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 313px) 100vw, 313px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Once you complete the excel sheet, save in <strong>CSV<\/strong> format.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step #2: Connect Gmail Account With O365<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is mandatory to make a connection \nbetween the O365 and Google Apps account to transfer emails. The \nfollowing instructions need to be performed in order to establish a \nnetwork.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Go to<strong> Exchange Admin Center<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Navigate to <strong>Recipients<\/strong> option and select <strong>Migration<\/strong>.<\/li><li>You need to select <strong>Migration<\/strong> <strong>endpoints<\/strong> by clicking on <strong>More<\/strong> option.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"330\" height=\"98\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mozesoft.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/2step3.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-820\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mozesoft.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/2step3.png 330w, https:\/\/www.mozesoft.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/2step3-300x89.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 330px) 100vw, 330px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Next, move the cursor to <strong>New<\/strong> icon. It is used to generate new migration endpoint.<\/li><li>After that, you need to select <strong>IMAP<\/strong> from the next page.<\/li><li>The IMAP migration configuration page pops-up on the browser. Just mention <strong>imap.gmail.com<\/strong> in the IMAP Server setting option.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tip<\/strong>: Ensure that rest of the default settings stay same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Hit the <strong>Next<\/strong> button and create a connection between Gmail &amp; MS O365 account.<\/li><li>Once both account connected properly, Enter general information dialog box pops-up.<\/li><li>Just type a suitable name for the migration endpoint and leave the next two consecutive boxes. Then, click <strong>new<\/strong> button.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"480\" height=\"325\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mozesoft.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/2step8.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-821\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mozesoft.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/2step8.png 480w, https:\/\/www.mozesoft.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/2step8-300x203.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step #3: Need to Make Migration Batch<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This step is very useful when there is a \nrequirement to move multiple G Suite mailboxes to Office 365 at the same\n time. To do this, use the below steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Open <strong>Exchange Admin centers<\/strong> with the help of browser.<\/li><li>Once it is opened, select <strong>Exchange<\/strong> from the left-side pane.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"281\" height=\"259\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mozesoft.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/3step1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-822\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>After that, select <strong>Recipients<\/strong> and click on <strong>Migration<\/strong> option.<\/li><li>Next, click on<strong> \u2018+\u2019<\/strong> drop-down button and choose <strong>Migrate to Exchange Online<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"245\" height=\"120\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mozesoft.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/3step3.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-823\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Select <strong>IMAP<\/strong> migration &gt;&gt; <strong>Next<\/strong>.<\/li><li>On the following page, click on <strong>Browse<\/strong> button and upload migration file.<\/li><li>Next, O365 will verify the file on different factors such as the \nfile must be of CSV type, Rows should be equal to 50,000 or less and \nmuch more. If the file does not follow any of the parameters, then an \nerror message will generate. Else, all the Gmail mailboxes will appear \non the screen.<\/li><li>Click on <strong>Next<\/strong> button.<\/li><li>In <strong>Set the migration endpoint<\/strong> section, you need to pick that migration endpoint that was created earlier.<\/li><li>Choose the default values from the IMAP migration configuration page and click <strong>Next<\/strong>.<\/li><li>This is the most interesting part when you have to provide a \nrelevant name for the migration batch. If you wish to eliminate few \nfolders from export task, then just type the name of folder in <strong>Exclude Folder<\/strong> box. Then, click on <strong>Next<\/strong>.<\/li><li>In <strong>Start the batch<\/strong> page, execute each and every instruction sequentially.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Select <strong>Browse<\/strong> button to share the export reports to sub-users. Alternatively, user can go to the <strong>Properties<\/strong> option and view the complete file.<\/li><li>You need to choose <strong>Automatically start the batch<\/strong> and hit the <strong>New<\/strong> button to initiate the G Suite email to Office 365 migration process.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Migrate G Suite Contacts \/ Calendars to Office 365 Account?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The manual workaround is only devoted to  import Gmail emails in O365. However, contacts and calendars also play a  significant role and need to migrate.
