MBOX stands for MailBOX which can be used to store email messages and can be opened in various email clients, like Apple Mail, Thunderbird, Netscape, Eudora, Evolution, Pocomail, Sylpheed, Spicebird, Entourage, Claws Mail, Opera Mail, Mozilla Mail, Mulberry, SeaMonkey and many more.<\/p>\n

Due to some personal or any official reason users need to move from one to another email clients. Now see the manual method for Converting MBOX to PST<\/a> File Format.<\/p>\n

Step 1: Use Apple Mail to Move MBOX file<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. First of all, open Apple Mail<\/strong> and go to File >> Import<\/strong> option<\/li>\n
  2. After that, choose the option from where you want to import the data i.e. File in MBOX format<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Now, click on Continue<\/strong> button and select the MBOX<\/strong> file location<\/li>\n
  4. Then, from the location choose the MBOX files and click on Choose >> Continue<\/strong> option<\/li>\n
  5. As the import process completed, click on Done<\/strong> button<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Step 2: Use Eudora Application<\/p>\n

    1. In order to begin, add file extension i.e. .mbx to the imported MBOX file<\/li>\n
    2. After that, copy the file to the Eudora default directory by going at the default location i.e.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      \u201cC: Documents and SettingsApplication Data\\Qualcomm\\Eudora\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

      1. Now, start the Eudora<\/strong> and double-click<\/strong> on the MBOX<\/strong> file and exit the application.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Step 3: Use Outlook Express to Import Messages<\/p>\n

        1. Open Outlook Express, click on File >> Import<\/strong> and choose Messages<\/strong><\/li>\n
        2. After that, select Eudora<\/strong> and click Next<\/strong><\/li>\n
        3. Now, browse the .mbx<\/strong> and click on OK<\/strong><\/li>\n
        4. In last, click on Next >> Next >> Finish<\/strong> and now, you can view the imported MBOX file in Local Folders of MS Outlook Express<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Step 4: Import Messages from Outlook Express to Outlook<\/p>\n

          1. In this to begin, navigate to File >> Open<\/strong> option<\/li>\n
          2. After that, click on Import<\/strong> and Import & Export<\/strong> window will open<\/li>\n
          3. Now, choose the Import Internet Mail and Addresses<\/strong> option and click on Next<\/strong><\/li>\n
          4. Then, select Outlook Express or Window Mail<\/strong> option and click on Next<\/strong><\/li>\n
          5. Next, click on Import<\/strong> button to begin the import process<\/li>\n
