It is one of the most widely used e-mail clients readily available in the market and the e-mail items are stored in the form of MBOX format. MBOX format is also supported by several Mac email clients like <b> Entourage<\/b>, and <b>Apple Mail<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>In Thunderbird, all e-mail items and messages are stored in a directory outside of the user\u2019s program directory. Thunderbird is not the only e-mail client that is used by people, there are also many other e-mail clients, such as MS Outlook.<\/p>\n<p>According to the users, MS Outlook is the most widely used e-mail client and it stores e-mail and messages in the form of PST format. Due to Outlook\u2019s sturdy and robust topographies, Thunderbird lags a little behind in terms of usage. This way is known as manual method to export .MBOX to <b> .PST<\/b> files format.<\/p>\n<p><b>Manual Method:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Step1:<\/b> Run Thunderbird Email client.<\/p>\n<p><b>Step2:<\/b> Open the folder that you want to export.<\/p>\n<p><b>Step3:<\/b> For selecting individual e-mail, press and hold \u201cCtrl\u201d and for choosing all messages, press \u201c <b>Ctrl + A<\/b>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><b>Step4: <\/b>Right-click on the selected emails &amp; click \u201cSave As\u201d option.<\/p>\n<p><b>Step5:<\/b> Save the selected messages in the destination folder where you want and click &#8216;Select Folder&#8217; to export messages.<\/p>\n<p><b>Step6:<\/b> Now, run MS Outlook.<\/p>\n<p><b>Step7:<\/b> Right-click the &#8216;\u201dOutlook\u201d folder &amp; click on \u201c <b>New Folder<\/b>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><b>Step8:<\/b> In the \u201cName\u201d section, enter a desired name for new folder and click \u201cOK\u201d button to create it. (The new folder will be <b>empty<\/b>)<\/p>\n<p><b>Step9:<\/b> Choose all emails exported from Thunderbird using <b>Ctrl + A<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Step10:<\/b> Select and drag all emails to the middle pane of the MS Outlook and import all messages into new folder.<\/p>\n<p><b>Step11:<\/b> All emails will be viewed after successful import process.<\/p>\n<p>This manual method will be useful in the situation when there are limited emails.
