How to Open VHD File in Virtualbox?

To open a VHD file in VirtualBox, follow these steps:

  1. Open VirtualBox and click on “New” to create a new virtual machine.
  2. In the “Name and operating system” window, enter a name for the virtual machine and select the operating system that you want to run on the virtual machine.
  3. In the “Memory size” window, specify the amount of memory to be used by the virtual machine and click on “Next”.
  4. In the “Hard disk” window, select “Use an existing virtual hard disk file” and click on the folder icon to browse for the VHD file that you want to open.
  5. Select the VHD file and click on “Open”. The VHD file should now be listed as the virtual hard disk for the virtual machine.
  6. Click on “Create” to create the virtual machine. Once the virtual machine is created, you can start it to begin running the operating system that is installed on the VHD file.

Note that the VHD file must be in a format that is supported by VirtualBox, which includes VHD, VDI, and VMDK. If the VHD file is in a different format, you may need to convert it to one of the supported formats before opening it in VirtualBox.
